I wrote this Tarantella for scene where all of the puppets in the shop come to life and fly about in a large acrobatic display, finally throwing Gepetto so high in the air that he looses his pants. Sadly the act was cut and so this, one of the only "Italian" sounding pieces in the show, was moved to the final exit. It's named for our beloved Russian acrobatic coaches
